Planets are large spherical bodies that revolve around a star (Sun).
The Sun is the star at the centre of our  Solar System. The Sun looks like small in the sky, but it's  a giant compared to the Earth.

________

THE EARTH
We live on this Planet .
It is the third planet in order from The Sun.
This planet has got one satellite. It's called "Moon". We always see the same side of the Moon. The Moon is much  smaller than Earth.

We can only see the cells through a microscope. They have got tiny size.
Living things can be unicellular or multicellular.
Living things are classified into five kingdoms:

  • Animal Kingdom
  • Plant Kingdom
  • Fungi Kingdom
  • Protista Kingdom
  • Monera Kingdom
PLANT KINGDOM

They make their own food.
Plants are subject to ground , so they can not move. They  can do all the functions like other living things.
They are multicellular organisms.

Some plants produce seeds and other plants produce spores
SEEDS PLANTS form two groups: Angiosperms and Gymnosperms
Non- Seeds plants can be Ferns and Mosses

PLANT NUTRITION

  • The roots absorb water and minerals to make raw sap.
  • The raw sap goes up the stem to the leaves
  • Photosynthesis takes place in the leaves. They change raw sap into elaborated sap.
